Basic Job Functions:

The role of NCF Maintenance is to be responsible for the safest, most efficient, cost effective means of operation and maintenance of our assets. Skills used on a daily basis include (but are not limited to) PLC programming/troubleshooting, AC/DC Drive programming/troubleshooting, general maintenance of electrical and mechanical equipment, machining and fabrication of equipment. This is a rotating shift position which includes nights, weekends, emergency overtime and holidays.Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Minimum Requirements:

• Electromechanical degree or three years industrial maintenance experience including mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Basic knowledge of machining, welding, and equipment fabrication skills.
• Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship.

Preferences:

• PLC Skills in AB Control Logix 5000/500, Siemens STEP 7, etc...)
• AC/DC Drive experience (Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc...)
• Industrial Maintenance Experience
