Job summary

TMD Staffing is seeking a maintenance helper to support preventive maintenance of equipment and facilities, troubleshooting electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and keeping production running safely and efficiently.

Candidates should have mechanical aptitude, OSHA knowledge, and the ability to communicate in English. The role runs 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM on-site, with a pay rate of $21–$25 per hour, and includes basic facility housekeeping and inventory tasks.

Qualifications

Mechanical aptitude and industrial troubleshooting experience.
Basic knowledge of 480V 3-phase electrical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, plumbing, fabrication and welding.
Experience operating forklifts and manlifts.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards.
Able to communicate effectively in English.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and facility infrastructure.
Assist with repairs to electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Troubleshoot industrial equipment and machinery.
Follow Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Maintain maintenance inventory.
Perform general housekeeping.
Support production by ensuring equipment operates safely and efficiently.
