Job summary

Brentwood Industries Inc. in Hope, AR is seeking a Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and improve manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced production environment.

You should have strong electrical and/or mechanical troubleshooting skills and a high school diploma or GED. Responsibilities include diagnosing equipment failures, performing preventive and corrective maintenance, reading electrical schematics and blueprints, and working with PLC-controlled systems.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of industrial maintenance experience in manufacturing.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley preferred).
  • Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, conveyor, and automated production systems.
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
  • Welding and fabrication experience is a plus.
  • Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment.
  • Diagnose equipment failures and perform preventive and corrective maintenance.
  • Install, maintain, and repair production machinery and facility equipment.
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and electrical control systems.
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
  • Perform electrical work including motors, drives, sensors, relays, VFDs, and control panels.
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks according to established schedules.
  • Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns to minimize production downtime.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders.
  • Assist with equipment upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects.
  • Follow all company safety policies, OSHA regulations, and lockout/tagout procedures.
  • Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
