Job summary

Kernodle Clinic in Burlington, NC seeks a full-time Maintenance technician to support its multi-specialty clinic locations in Burlington and Mebane. The role requires travel between sites and reliable transportation for between-clinic duties; schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m., with an emphasis on upkeep of facilities. Ideal candidates will have general experience in electrical, plumbing, painting, and other construction tasks, and must be able to lift over 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Restock supplies and assist with basic maintenance duties when needed.

Full-Time Maintenance Position for Busy Multi-Specialist Clinic, located in Burlington, NC.

Kernodle Clinic is a respected and progressive multi-specialty group practice with office locations in Burlington, Mebane and Elon. We are a community leader that offers challenging and rewarding opportunities for our employees. Kernodle Clinic is a multi-specialty practice with more than 70 providers located just off I-40/I-85. Burlington is accessible as a day trip to NC Mountains and beaches. Ample recreational activities, shopping, and easy access to metros (Greensboro, Raleigh and Durham) are unique to Burlington.

We are currently seeking an individual for our Maintenance department. This position would be located at both Burlington and new Mebane Kernodle Clinic locations. Must have reliable transportation for travel between both clinics when needed. General experience preferred with electrical, plumbing, painting and other construction related areas. Must be able to lift >50lbs. Schedule for position would be Monday thru Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

All candidates must demonstrate good communication skills, professional appearance, and respectful attitude towards staff, physicians and patients.

Duties Include, but not limited to the following:

• Assists in maintaining all Clinic (Burlington, Elon, and Mebane) facilities in a sanitary, clean, and attractive condition. Paint if appropriate. Ensure there is proper lighting. Hang items on wall if needed. Change ceiling tiles.
• Open buildings when needed. Make sure lights are on, no burned-out lights and no water leaks.
• Promptly and courteously assists patients in and out of the building as necessary.
• Perform snow and ice removal on sidewalks when appropriate.
• Ensures electrical and mechanical systems are performing. Coordinates repairs as necessary. Change air condition filters and ensure that air condition problems are addressed that arise. Address general plumbing issues.
• Performs preventative maintenance as necessary. Pick up supplies needed for repairs and maintenance.
