Job summary

HES is hiring a full-time facilities technician at Anderson University to support dorms and academic buildings. You will perform HVAC and plumbing repairs, drywall work, and general maintenance as part of a team.

The role requires on-call rotation and the ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor environments, with a focus on safe, efficient upkeep of school facilities.

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively and take direction from supervisors.
• On-call rotation with other facilities employees (1-week month).
• Assist with snow removal and operate snow plows or equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7A-4P (On-call rotation to include after hours or weekends as needed for emergencies)

Every job within a school district plays an important role—and this includes out maintenance/facilities department. As part of our operations team, you will help prepare school facilities by supporting the safe and efficient repairs of all dorm rooms, along with academic buildings. Looking for maintenance technicians that have experience in HVAC, plumbing, and/or general repairs to include minimal drywall work or window repairs.

We are recruiting full time facilities technicians.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Follow a work order system to complete tasks as needed by students, or faculty.
• Minor repairs to HVAC, plumbing, drywall repair or painting.
• Manipulate or move furniture to preform work as needed. .
• Work collaboratively with team members and take direction from supervisors.
• On-call rotation with other facilities employees (1-week month)
• Assist with snow removal- Able to operate snow plows or other snow equipment.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

• Ability to work in varying indoor and outdoor environments.
