Job summary

B5 Recruiting partners with a leading property management organization in Huntersville, NC to hire several Maintenance Technicians. You’ll help keep residences safe, attractive, and well‑maintained by performing a variety of trades and completing work orders efficiently.

This contract‑to‑hire role involves turns and move‑outs, preventive maintenance, on‑call rotation, and keeping accurate records of work and materials. A valid driver’s license and your own tools are required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience.
• HVAC experience.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Own set of tools.
• Certifications such as HVAC, CFC, or CPO (preferred).
• Ability to perform trades like plumbing, electrical, carpentry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare apartments for new residents (turns & move-outs).
• Complete work orders efficiently and professionally.
• Keep exterior areas clean and well-presented (curb appeal).
• Conduct routine and preventive maintenance.
• Daily trash pickup and grounds upkeep.
• Maintain trash compactors and swimming pools (in season).
• Troubleshoot and repair: plumbing, basic electrical, appliances, carpentry & drywall, roofing & flooring.
• Maintain accurate records of work and materials used.
• Participate in the on‑call maintenance rotation.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
