Where you'll be:

This position will be based in Springfield, TN.

All about the role:

As a Team Leader, you will guide and direct the efforts of the maintenance team in their duties. The supervisor will teach and instruct the team in proper practices and follow a safety-first approach.

What you'll do:

• Lead and coach teams of tradesmen in performing repairs and preventative maintenance on all equipment in the plant.
• Lead by example in adhering to all safety rules and provide a safe workplace for all team members.
• Handle the shift in the absence of the supervisor, including radio calls, attendance, work order system, shift notes, vacations, 8D sheets, stop cards, and daily check sheets.
• Make recommendations concerning discipline to the supervisor after consulting with the Maintenance Manager.

Qualifications:

• 5+ years of maintenance experience.
• 5+ years of HVAC experience with EPA certification.
• High school diploma.
• Effective communication skills for collaboration with stakeholders, internal teams, and factories.
• Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and percentages.
• Understanding of lockout/tagout procedures and ensuring compliance with plant policies.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to bend, stoop, grip, reach, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work from an articulation boom or scissor lift up to 50 feet in the air.
