Job summary

Richman Property Services, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II for our Fieldpointe community in Frederick, MD.

This full-time position features regular hours, on-site work, and a focus on repairs and preventative maintenance across a 252-unit property. You will perform carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, and appliance repairs, manage work orders, prepare vacant units, and ensure safety and tenant satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years in maintenance or groundskeeping; carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting
• Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws; knowledge of local/state/federal regulations incl. Fair Housing
• Strong organizational skills; ability to work independently

Responsibilities

• Execute and sustain daily repair and upkeep of the property.
• Prepare vacant units for occupancy within deadlines.
• Manage service requests and response times with safe, courteous service.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report concerns to supervisor/manager.
• Uphold exceptional customer service.
• Seek educational opportunities for personal growth.
• Participate in ongoing property preventative maintenance.
• Assist in maintaining curb appeal and general cleanliness.
• Complete tasks such as training, logs, and reports timely.
• Communicate inventory of maintenance supplies and parts.

Position: Maintenance Technician II

Location:Fieldpointe Our 252 unit residential community located in Frederick, MD.

Hours:Monday through Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm

Key Qualifications:

• EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
• On Call rotation
• Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, appliance repairs, etc.

Requirements:

• Education:
  • High school diploma or GED; industry-related courses preferred
• Experience:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of maintenance and general repair experience or Groundskeeper
  • Proficiency in maintenance tasks, including carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting, etc.
  • Must own basic tools as allowed by state laws
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal laws, including Fair Housing Laws
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently
• Skills & Certifications:
  • EPA Section 608 Type I and II or Universal Technician license, strongly preferred
  • Valid Driver's License required
  • Proficient in English for communication and record-keeping purposes
