Job summary

Bank of America is seeking an operating systems programmer to deliver infrastructure initiatives, including ARC recovery and z16 server upgrades, software upgrades, and security patching. Base activities support daily operations and continuous improvement of tool/services.

You will design and deploy templates, playbooks, and automation, ensuring adherence to architectural governance and standards, with 1st shift on-site work and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Experience designing infrastructure tools and services following governance standards.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical definitions and playbooks for deployment.
• Experience evaluating reference models, blueprints, and playbooks for fit-for-purpose use.

Responsibilities

• Provides subject matter expertise on technologies and assists engineers to ensure solutions comply with design standards.
• Translates business requirements into technical definitions, reference models, blueprints, and deployment playbooks.
• Evaluates reference models and playbooks to ensure fit for purpose.
• Develops software solutions to automate manual and repetitive work.
• Conducts on-site evaluations of third‑party products being considered for firm adoption.
• Promotes an inclusive and healthy working environment and helps remove organizational blockers.
• Contributes to functional and non-functional product evaluation requirements across domains.
