Job summary

Data Search Network Inc. is seeking a seasoned Mainframe Storage Engineer / Systems Programmer in Hoboken, NJ. The role focuses on mainframe storage engineering with responsibilities spanning DASD, Z/OS, and disaster recovery.

Hybrid work arrangement requires on-site presence three days per week, with the balance remote. Ideal candidates will demonstrate strong problem-solving, customer service skills, and deep experience with SMP/E and storage administration.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mainframe Systems Programmer with storage engineering focus.
• Expertise in Disaster Recovery and SMP/E.
• Experience with DASD, z/OS, and tape storage environments.
• Strong customer service for internal/external clients.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and patch mainframe storage environments.
• Support DASD, z/OS, and tape storage operations.
• Manage disaster recovery processes and data replication.
• Install, upgrade, and maintain storage infrastructure.
• Provide excellent customer service.
