Compensation Overview

The annual base salary range provided for this position is a nationwide market range and represents a broad spectrum of salaries across the country. The actual salary will depend on factors such as role scope, complexity, location, candidate skills, education, training, credentials, experience, and other employment conditions. Employees are also eligible for performance-based cash incentive awards as part of our comprehensive compensation and benefits program.

What Is the Opportunity?

Under general supervision, demonstrates thorough understanding of activities related to engineering support, installation, and/or operations of infrastructure technologies. Plans at an operational level, designing and developing technology solutions interfacing with customers, management, and technical resources. Facilitates and participates in designing, developing, and implementing large complex technology solutions supporting multiple business and technology areas. Develops and implements solutions involving various platforms, databases, software/hardware technologies, and tools. Must be able to multitask in a dynamic environment. This role is a team lead.

What Will You Do?

• This position is a technical individual contributor role within the Mainframe Engineering (MOSE) team, responsible for evaluation, configuration, security, implementation, and support of the z/OS operating system, RACF, storage subsystems, and Communications Server for multiple business groups. Experience with mainframe HSM, SMS, CA1, AT-TLS, certificate renewals, encryption key management, and activation is preferred.
• Evaluate system specifications based on customer requirements, transforming them into cost-effective, technically correct solutions.
• Prioritize work and manage projects within budgets and customer priorities.
• Establish and adhere to quality control and security protocols.
• Provide management with timely and accurate project status and performance information.
• Leverage technology to develop, redesign, and implement optimal solutions.
• Build and maintain effective relationships across technical and business communities.
• Interact with customers to ensure efficient and effective results.
• Multi-task and prioritize according to business needs and production requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What Will Our Ideal Candidate Have?

• Five years of experience in Technology preferred.
• Experience providing technical direction to project teams preferred.
• Knowledge of infrastructure technologies such as Network, Database, Server, Storage preferred.
• Advanced knowledge in areas like IT Infrastructure, Operating Systems, Software, and process discipline.

What is a Must Have?

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of experience in Technology required.
