Job summary

IPolarity is seeking a Mainframe Scheduler Migration Specialist to remotely support migration projects. The role requires extensive z/OS expertise and hands-on experience with IBM Z Workload Scheduler and related tools.

Responsibilities include monitoring workloads via ISPF, analyzing migration issues, and documenting solutions while collaborating with client teams and contractors. A strong background in batch scheduling and legacy system modernization is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Mainframe z/OS / OS/390.
• 5+ years with IBM Z Workload Scheduler / Tivoli Workload Scheduler.
• Strong TSO/ISPF experience.
• Excellent JCL knowledge.
• Experience with batch scheduling migration/conversion is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of CA-7, CA-ESP, BMC Control-M, Jobtrac, Zeke/Zebb is a plus.
• Experience with Dynamic Workload Console (DWC) is advantageous.
• Rexx or Workload Automation programming language experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, documentation, communication, and troubleshooting skills.
