The role involves installing, upgrading, and customizing ISV tools, providing SA/390 automation support, and ensuring high system availability. The consultant will work closely with Applications Development, Infrastructure, IT Operations, and Production Support teams while participating in DR exercises and maintaining DR readiness. The position also requires active monitoring, L3 support, and adherence to organizational quality and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities

• Install, upgrade, and customize IBM and ISV tools across z/OS mainframe systems.

• Independently resolve tickets and ensure SLA compliance for ticket volume and turnaround times.
• Support incident and problem management processes for escalated issues.
• Contribute to knowledge base updates, train new analysts, and participate in hiring activities.
• Ensure alignment with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and organizational policies.
• Support Service Improvement Plans and proposal creation for business needs.
