Job summary

ManpowerGroup Global, Inc. seeks a Mainframe Logical Security Engineer to join its IT Operations team hybrid in Phoenix, AZ. Design, implement, and manage security controls across IBM z/OS environments, with a focus on RACF administration and least-privilege access.

You will conduct access reviews, audits, and regulatory compliance efforts (SOX, PCI, HIPAA), analyze SMF data, and collaborate with security and operations to keep the mainframe secure.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

As a Mainframe Logical Security Engineer, you will be part of the IT Operations Department supporting the Mainframe Security and Infrastructure team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully within the organization.

What's the Job?

• Design, implement, and manage security controls across IBM z/OS environments to ensure system integrity and compliance.
• Administer and maintain RACF security environment, including creating, modifying, and revoking user IDs, groups, and resource profiles.
• Implement and enforce least-privilege access controls for datasets, applications, and system resources.
• Conduct periodic access reviews, audits, and compliance checks to support regulatory requirements such as SOX, PCI, and HIPAA.
• Analyze security logs, investigate access violations, and troubleshoot authorization failures to maintain a secure mainframe environment.
