A leading enterprise technology organization is seeking a Mainframe z/OS System Programmer to join its infrastructure team in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a full-time hybrid position requiring onsite attendance three days per week. The environment includes IBM z/OS, RACF, JES2/JES3, REXX, NetView, DB2, CICS, IMS, MQ, and enterprise scheduling and automation platforms.
Required Skills & Experience
- Experience administering IBM z/OS environments
- Strong understanding of JES2/JES3
- Experience with TSO/E, ISPF, and USS
- Knowledge of RACF administration and security concepts
- System performance analysis using RMF, SMF, and SDSF
- Experience with operating system upgrades and maintenance
- Root cause analysis and production troubleshooting experience
- Experience supporting enterprise change management processes
- Automation experience with REXX, CLIST, NetView, or SA z/OS
