Medical Mutual is seeking a Software Developer IV Mainframe Application Development Lead in a hybrid-remote role based out of the Brooklyn, OH office. You will lead design, development and modernization of enterprise mainframe applications, with expertise in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, VSAM and IBM z/OS.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Masters degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 years information systems experience.
• Minimum 4 years analysis and design experience.

Responsibilities

• Leads design, development, maintenance and modernization of critical mainframe applications.
• Provides technical leadership and oversees complex development efforts.
• Supports modernization initiatives and ensures stability and scalability of systems.
• Develops and executes test plans for new/changed components.
• Mentors team members and coaches junior staff.
