Medical Mutual in Ohio seeks a Software Developer IV – Mainframe Application Development Lead to guide design, development, and modernization of critical mainframe systems. You will provide technical leadership in COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and z/OS, oversee complex projects, and ensure production stability across multiple platforms.

This hybrid role requires hands-on coding, architecture oversight, and mentoring of teammates, with in-office days at the Brooklyn, OH site.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience.
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, business or related field or equivalent experience preferred.
• Minimum 6 years information systems experience.
• Minimum 4 years analysis and design experience.

Responsabilidades

• Leads design, development, maintenance and modernization of mainframe applications.
• Provide technical leadership and oversee complex development efforts.
• Support modernization initiatives and ensure system stability across platforms.
• Develop and execute test plans for new and changed components.
• Mentor and coach team members to advance staff development.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
