The role demands 7+ years of IMS DBA experience on z/OS with Sysplexed Data Sharing, strong knowledge of IMS utilities, and hands-on backup, recovery, and performance tuning. Excellent communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of IMS DBA experience in z/OS with Sysplexed Data Sharing.
• Strong knowledge of IMS types, utilities, and maintenance activities.
• Hands-on experience with IMS utilities, backup and recovery, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with JCL, TSO/ISPF, SDSF, REXX, and batch/online IMS environments.
• Experience troubleshooting IMS abends, data corruption, and integrity issues.

Responsibilities
