Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a Senior Mainframe DevOps Architect to lead end-to-end architectural design for enterprise customers, translating complex business requirements into robust technical roadmaps for mainframe investments.

You will set architectural standards, guide delivery teams, and serve as the primary technical escalation point for customers and stakeholders, leveraging Endevor, Zowe, and REXX scripting to bridge legacy mainframe with modern DevOps.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline and 8+ years of IBM mainframe (z/OS) experience.
• Led solution architecture and technical direction for multi-workstream enterprise DevOps engagements.
• Expert-level Endevor knowledge and related mainframe tooling (Zowe, REXX, JCL).
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and scripting languages (Python, Groovy, Groovy, Gulp).

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end solution architecture for enterprise engagements involving Broadcom mainframe software and modern DevOps.
• Lead architecture workshops with customer stakeholders to map multi-phase roadmaps.
• Mentor consultants on architecture principles and design trade-offs.
• Provide technical escalation and guidance across delivery teams.
• Define migration strategies from legacy to modern Endevor implementations.
