Job summary

Broadcom is seeking a senior consultant with extensive expertise in mainframe infrastructure software and Broadcom mainframe products such as SYSVIEW, OPS/MVS, NetMaster, and Mainframe Application Tuner. The role requires deep knowledge of mainframe operations, REXX/HLASM coding, and willingness to travel to client sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of related experience; postgraduate coursework may be desirable or a Master's degree and 6+ years of related experience.
• 10+ years’ experience with Broadcom Software mainframe products or similar.
• 10+ years’ experience with z/OS.
• Familiarity with BMC, IBM and Rocket mainframe products is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Deliver value to customers by applying real-world experience and industry certifications.
• Lead virtual teams and coordinate complex product integration demonstrations and proofs of concept.
• Provide technical leadership and documentation to support proposed solutions.
• Understand JES, CICS, MQ, DB2, IMS and VSAM subsystems and enterprise security managers (ACF2, TSS, RACF).
• Act as consultant on a wide range of infrastructure management topics and communicate innovations and trends.
