Synechron seeks a skilled Mainframe Developer to join our technology team. The role focuses on designing, developing, testing, and maintaining mainframe applications to support business operations using JCL, CICS, TSO/ISPF, and NDM.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Mainframe Developer or similar role.
• Proficiency in TSO/ISPF, JCL, CICS, and NDM.
• Experience with CA7 Scheduling and GitHub for version control.

Responsibilities

• Develop, test, and implement mainframe applications using JCL, CICS, and other relevant tools.
• Utilize TSO/ISPF for application development, debugging, and testing.
• Manage mainframe data transfers and exchanges using NDM.
• Automate and schedule batch jobs using CA7 (optional).
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Maintain and enhance existing mainframe applications.
• Participate in code reviews, documentation, and adherence to best coding practices.
• Use GitHub for version control and collaborative development.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mainframe environment issues.
