LTIMindtree is hiring a Mainframe Developer in the United States. The role focuses on analyzing requirements, building and maintaining batch and online mainframe applications, and resolving production issues in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates will have strong COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2, and VSAM skills, with hands-on mainframe experience on z/OS and TSO/ISPF. The position includes exposure to SDLC and Agile release processes and offers a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL DB2, VSAM and CICS.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements and perform impact analysis.
• Design, develop, test and maintain Mainframe applications.
• Develop and enhance programs using COBOL, CICS, DB2, VSAM and JCL.
• Create and maintain batch jobs, procedures and utilities.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and defects.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding standards.
• Collaborate with analysts, QA teams and stakeholders during SDLC phases.
• Support deployments and post-production activities.
• Prepare technical design and support documentation.
