Wipro Limited is seeking a seasoned Mainframe Specialist to join our team in a hands-on role focused on COBOL, JCL, VSAM, and batch processing. You will work in a TSO/ISPF environment with OPC scheduling and Endeavor change management, contributing to reliable, scalable mainframe solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with COBOL, JCL, VSAM, File-AID, GDG in a batch mainframe environment.
• Experience in a mainframe TSO ISPF environment.
• Experience with mainframe scheduling software such as OPC.
• Experience using Endeavor change management software.
• Hands-on experience with Easytrieve.
• ITIL/ITSM processes: incidents, change management and problem investigation.
• Basic knowledge of Confluence, Unix, OPC scheduling tool, SQL, NDM (Connect Direct) file transfer, and GFT/FTP.

Responsibilities

• Independently support assigned applications and resolve issues.

• Extensive experience in a batch mainframe environment.
• Experience working in a mainframe TSO ISPF environment.
• Experience with mainframe scheduling software, like OPC.
• Experience using Endeavor change management software.
• Handson experience with Easytrieve.
• ITIL/ITSM Tools, Incidents, Change Management, Problem Investigation
• Proven technical skills necessary to learn the mainframe batch quickly environment and assume the role and independently support assigned application.
• Basic knowledge on Confluence, Unix, OPC scheduling tool, SQL, NDM (connect direct) file transfer protocol, GFT/FTP

Mandatory Skills: Application Modernization - Mainframe.Experience: 5-8 Years.The expected compensation for this role ranges from $60,000 to $135,000 .Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience.
