Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• 4+ years designing and maintaining cross-platform or cloud integrations.
• 3+ years automating system configuration or data workflows.
• 3+ years working with relational databases or Mainframe DB2 applications.

Responsibilities

• Manage and administer IBM DB2 on z/OS environments as SME for both application and systems DBA activities.
• Lead mainframe maintenance and modernization focused on resiliency, high availability, and DR for critical business apps and payments.
• Use DB2 performance tools to optimize Batch and Online processing.
• Ensure data integrity and security with encryption and z/OS certificate management.
• Bridge legacy systems to cloud via secure Distributed connectivity and Mainframe RESTful APIs.
• Collaborate with Agile teams using Jira and Confluence and document configurations.
• Mentor juniors and drive continuous improvement of database engineering practices.
