Job summary

Stefanini Group is seeking a Solutions Engineer - Data Center with a strong COBOL background to modify mainframe manufacturing code changes on IBM z/OS. The role involves CICS and batch processing, VSAM, and debugging utilities within an agile team supporting expansion projects for manufacturing lines and associated equipment.

Ideal candidates will demonstrate proficiency in COBOL II, JCL, CICS, and related mainframe tools, with strong problem-solving and communications skills to collaborate

Qualifications

• Proficiency in COBOL II, JCL, CICS, and other mainframe languages.
• Experience with VSAM files and SDF II (COBOL Maps).
• Experience with CEDF (CICS Debug Utility) and File Manager tools.

Responsibilities

• Perform custom COBOL code changes on IBM z/OS mainframe in support of manufacturing systems.
• Engage in agile development to implement requirements for the Carpenter Brownfield expansion.
• Interact with team members and stakeholders to troubleshoot and resolve mainframe issues.
