Job summary

PTR Global is seeking a skilled Mainframe CICS System Administrator to manage, maintain, and optimize CICS Transaction Server environments across production, test, and disaster-recovery regions. The role is based in Chandler, Arizona and is a contract engagement.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with IBM z/OS, strong CICS administration, performance monitoring, and troubleshooting skills. Onsite work is required three days per week, with the ability to collaborate across teams

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with CICS Transaction Server administration on IBM z/OS.
• Proficiency in CICS installation, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Strong knowledge of DFHSIT and CICS system initialization parameters.
• Experience in performance monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Ability to analyze transaction response time, CPU utilization, and storage usage.

Job Overview
