Job summary

Koniag Government Services is seeking a Mainframe Batch Integration Production Analyst to support our government customer in Baltimore, MD. The role includes testing batch integration, migrating software to a production batch environment, and serving as a technical authority on JCL, JES, and related batch components.

The BITT team tests mainframe workloads and ensures seamless integration with scheduling tools.

Qualifications

Strong JCL experience.
Experience with scheduling applications.
Control-M working knowledge preferred.
At least three (3) years of IT experience providing related IT support in a Mainframe ZOS environment.
Mainframe testing experience.
Experience using TSO/ISPF.
Performing BINDS; providing DB2 support with DB2 modules.
Experience migrating software through a lifecycle.

Responsibilities

Provide post-implementation analysis and services after migration to production.
Deliver written technical status reports on testing issues within required timeframes.
Recommend solutions to prevent recurring problems during testing.
Maintain and edit batch integration test libraries supporting BITT activities.
Migrate or reject BRPS elements before daily 2:00 p.m. sweep.
