Job summary

SierTeK Ltd. seeks an Application Developer to support CMCS system work for DOD and US government customers. This role is remote and part-time, requiring strong mainframe skills, including FOCUS, JCL, REXX, COBOL, and Assembler.

You will analyze requirements, design, develop, test, and provide production support while documenting systems. The candidate should be capable of working independently within a structured development lifecycle and coordinating with teams across different time zones.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of the Z/OS environment including TSO/ISPF.
• System written primarily in Mainframe FOCUS.
• Proficiency in FOCUS, JCL, REXX, COBOL, Assembler requested.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements, design, develop, test, and implement solutions for the CMCS system for DOD, USAF and government customers.
• Provide production support and system documentation.
• Assist less experienced staff and work independently within a structured development lifecycle.
