Job summary

SMS InfoComm Corporation seeks a Mainboard Repair Manager to lead a team of repair technicians, overseeing diagnostics, repair, and testing of mainboards for computers, servers, and mobile devices.

You will establish SOPs, monitor KPIs, manage parts inventory, and collaborate with R&D, customer support, and logistics to ensure timely and cost-effective repairs. A background in electronics and 3–5 years in technical/management roles is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electronics or Electrical Engineering preferred.
• IPC or CE electronics repair certifications are a plus.
• Minimum 3–5 years in a technical or management role related to electronic repair and maintenance.
• Experience with advanced repair tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Strong knowledge of mainboard architecture and electronics components.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of mainboard repair technicians.
• Provide training and guidance to staff to enhance technical skills.
• Ensure KPIs for repair quality, productivity, and turnaround time.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members for improvement.
• Oversee diagnostics, repair and testing of mainboards for various electronics (computers, servers, mobile devices).
• Troubleshoot faults using advanced testing equipment, schematics, and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain SOPs and quality checks to ensure consistent repairs.
• Manage inventory and parts procurement for mainboard repairs.
• Coordinate with R&D, customer support, and logistics to update repair status and resolve issues.
• Generate detailed repair reports and maintain service history.
