Job summary

Lou Fusz Automotive Network is seeking a skilled Automotive Mechanic/Technician to join our service team in St. Louis, MO. This union position offers a path for growth within a family-owned dealership network known for integrity and employee respect.

Responsibilities include engine, transmission, electrical, steering, and brake repairs, with test-driving and diagnostics. ASE certifications are ideal; valid driver’s license and pre-employment screening required.

Qualifications

• ASE certifications ideal
• Must have strong automotive background
• Must have strong teamwork skills
• Must have clean & valid driver’s license
• Must be willing to submit to pre-employment drug screen and background check

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership standards
• Test-drive vehicles and test components using diagnostic tools and equipment
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, and A/C
• Communicate with the Service Advisor about needed additional services and provide time estimates
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed. Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
