Job summary

Lithia Ford Idaho Falls is seeking a Main Line Service Technician to diagnose and repair vehicle systems, perform maintenance, and communicate with service advisors. You’ll work a Monday–Friday schedule with rotating Saturdays and earn competitive pay with the potential for a monthly bonus.

Qualifications

• ASE certification is a plus but not required.
• Experience as automotive technician or equivalent.
• Ability to diagnose and repair automotive systems.
• Strong communication with service advisors and customers.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems (engine, transmission, electrical, etc).
• Perform high-quality maintenance and inspections.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify problems quickly and accurately.
• Communicate needs and procedures to customers and advisors.
• Stay updated with automotive tech through ongoing training.

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform high-quality vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to ensure quick and accurate problem identification.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about maintenance and repair needs and procedures.
• Stay up to date with automotive technology and techniques through continuous learning and training.
