Job summary

Lithia Ford Idaho Falls is seeking an experienced Main Line Service Technician to join our team. Competitive hourly pay from $26 to $40 with DOE, plus monthly bonus opportunities and a schedule that runs Monday–Friday with rotating Saturdays.

Qualifications

• Experience as automotive technician or equivalent preferred.
• ASE certification is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical, brakes, and more.
• Perform high-quality maintenance and inspections.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and solve issues quickly.
• Communicate with service advisors and customers about needs and procedures.
• Stay current with automotive technology through training.

• Diagnose and repair vehicle automotive systems, including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform high‑quality vehicle maintenance and inspections.
• Utilize diagnostic equipment to ensure quick and accurate problem identification.
• Communicate clearly with service advisors and customers about maintenance and repair needs and procedures.
• Stay up to date with automotive technology and techniques through continuous learning and training.
