Wind Creek Hospitality is seeking a Main Banker for the Montgomery, AL casino to manage large currency transactions and maintain accurate records. The role operates on a 10:30pm–7:00am shift, requiring vigilance, reliability, and strict adherence to Internal Controls and gaming regulations.

You will handle jackpots, conduct cash exchanges, verify deposits, and support guest service with professionalism while protecting casino assets and sensitive information.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of high-volume cash handling experience.
• Proficiency with 10-key calculator; pass rate via skills test.
• Strong math skills and numerical accuracy required.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proven ability to work in a team and maintain confidentiality of gaming records.

Responsibilities

• Complete and sign all accountability forms.
• Count and balance vault at shift start and end.
• Process jackpots and conduct even money exchanges.
• Verify funds and cash transactions from departments.
• Maintain security of cash and casino funds during shift.
• Prepare bank deposits and main bank settlement records.
• Perform cashier duties as needed and resolve variances.
• Provide prompt, courteous service to guests and maintain confidentiality.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Completes and signs all associated accountability forms
• Counts down and balances the vault at the beginning and end of the shift
• Responsible for processing jackpots
• Conducts even money exchange/transactions
• Verifies cash turn-in from other departments, various types of payouts, and cashier banks
• Maintains security and accountability of casino funds located in the Main Bank during their shift
• Receives and verifies funds brought in from Soft Count and the Bank
• Prepares bank deposits and records properly on main bank settlement sheets
• Prepares kiosk cassettes and coin bags
• Performs cashier duties as necessary
• Helps resolve any variances that may occur during their shift
• Provides an orderly and positive work environment
• Performs job duties in accordance with Player Services Internal Controls, policies and procedures and gaming regulations
• Provides prompt, friendly and courteous service to all guests in a confidential manner, and maintains the confidentiality of all gaming records
• Maintains a strong knowledge of Title 31 requirements
• Conveys a professional, friendly and courteous manner in all interactions with guests and employees
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Job Requirements

• High School diploma or GED required or currently enrolled and successfully complete a GED program within 6 months from start date as a condition of continued employment
• Must be twenty-one (21) years of age or older
• Two (2) years of high volume cash handling- required
• Proficiency with 10 key calculator -a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- required
• Proficient in math - a skills test will be administered and candidate must achieve at least 70% skills pass rate- required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Must successfully pass job interview, including a guest service audition
• Excellent oral and written English communication skills
• Willing to travel and participate in training as recommended or required
• Willing and able to work various hours and shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must have a Tribal Gaming License (or the ability to obtain and maintain a license) as a requirement for this position
• Must have willingness and ability to work in a smoke/secondary smoke environment
• Must have the ability to make precise decisions without compromising the integrity of the company
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Must be able to get along well with all levels of the organization and excel in a team-oriented environment
• Must be able to walk or stand for 100% of assigned shift
