Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Under the direction of the Cage Supervisor, responsible for counting, processing daily revenue, and preparing cash summary reports for each shift.
• Exhibit conduct according to Louisiana Gaming regulations, Golden Nugget policies, and all applicable laws.
• Deliver courteous, professional guest service in all interactions.
• Count and verify incoming and outgoing casino functions, submit reports to Auditing.
• Prepare and verify shift work for the cash cage.
• Count and prepare opening and closing cash inventories.
• Accurately count all cash and chips.
• Account for all monies in and out of the cash cage, complete relevant paperwork.
• Handle bank deposits, exchanges, and cash processing.
• Document revenue and payouts in cash summary reports.
• Promote responsible gaming and alcohol service, report concerns appropriately.
• Notify managers or Ethics Hotline of illegal acts or ethics violations.
• Follow all departmental and company policies, including ethics guidelines.
• Maintain excellent communication and professional relations with guests and staff.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One year of experience as a casino cage cashier preferred.
• Experience handling large volumes of cash required.
