Public Storage is seeking a Mailroom & Shipping Clerk to support daily mailroom, shipping, receiving, and administrative operations. The role requires attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced office environment.
Responsibilities include processing mail, coordinating shipments with FedEx/UPS, maintaining records, and providing general staff support. A high school diploma and 1–3 years in a mailroom are preferred, with customer service experience a plus.

The Mailroom & Shipping Clerkis responsible forsupporting daily mailroom, shipping, receiving, and administrative operations. This role ensuresaccurateprocessing, delivery, and tracking of mail and packages, whilemaintaininga high levelof organization, confidentiality, and customer service. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, reliable, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced office environment.
Receive, open, sort, weigh, stamp, and prepare mail and packages for shipment
Distribute mail and packages to the correct departments or individuals
Maintainaccuraterecords of deliveries, shipments, and tracking information
Prepare outgoing shipments and coordinate with couriers such as FedEx and UPS
Process returns and handle shipping/receiving activities
Operate postage meters, scanners, and mail processing equipment
Monitor office supply inventory and place orders as needed
Provide a variety of administrative and staff support services
Perform other duties as assigned
High school diploma or equivalent
1-3 yearsof experience inamailroomenvironment
Customer service experience preferred
Skills and Qualifications
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
Reliable, prompt, and committed to excellent attendance
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
Ability tomaintainconfidentiality at all times
Proficiencyin Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Ability tolift upto 50 lbs.
