Job summary

National Defense Industrial Association in Arlington, VA seeks a Production, Mailroom & Marketing Associate to manage mail operations, support production and oversee email marketing tasks.

You will work with the Email Marketing Manager, Graphics Team, and meeting planners to ensure timely campaigns, updated website content, and branded marketing materials, while learning HTML and basic design tools.

Qualifications

• Learn and apply basic HTML for formatting and troubleshooting email templates.

Responsibilities

• Advise staff on cost-effective mailing options and coordinate with suppliers and print/mail houses.
• Manage daily mail and package distribution, including courier deliveries.
• Coordinate with NDIA business centers to assess mailing needs and related materials.
• Maintain and service mail room equipment (copiers, fax) and coordinate repairs.
• Track equipment usage and report issues to vendors.
• Assist with production tasks (color and B/W printing, trimming, assembly).
• Manage toner supplies and report production costs to Accounting.
• Distribute membership renewal materials and merchandise for NDIA and affiliates.
• Collaborate with Email Marketing Manager to execute campaigns and manage Higher Logic.
• Assist graphics team with design tasks and ensuring brand standards.
• Update NDIA website content; coordinate with meeting planners for email edits and approvals.
• Learn and apply basic HTML for email templates.
