Job summary

Compass Group USA, ESFM division, seeks a full-time Mailroom Clerk (Dock Receiver) at P&G Plaza in Cincinnati, OH. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30 am–4:00 pm. Prior dock receiving experience preferred; must be able to lift up to 33 lbs and stand for long periods. Online applications accepted only.

Responsibilities include processing mail, shipments, tracking items, and following SOPs. Benefits are described for associates in full-time roles.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Preferred Dangerous Goods shipping certificate (49 CFR & IATA).
• Preferred knowledge of domestic/international shipping of Dangerous & Non‑Dangerous Goods and country guidelines.
• Preferred experience using shipping software used by common carriers (UPS, DHL, FedEx).

Responsibilities

• Receives, sorts, delivers, picks up and processes courier items, interoffice mail, magazines and USPS mail.
• Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment.
• Tracks courier and accountable items (FedEx, UPS, Certified Mail).
• Packages, labels and processes Hazardous and Non‑Hazardous materials using carrier software.
• Researches and routes unidentified mail and coordinates bulk mail transports.
• Receives, logs, delivers and tracks messenger items.
• Follows client SOPs and responds to customer inquiries and fulfill requests.
