Job summary

UCI Health in California is seeking a Sr. Mail Processor to manage the daily mail operations for UCI Medical Center and School of Medicine. You will deliver and pick up mail, sort and meter items, handle payroll documentation, and recharge for mailroom services while researching undeliverable mail.

The role includes operating a delivery van and participating in annual inventories, with emphasis on excellent customer service by meeting requests and expectations. A CA driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• One year previous job-related/equivalent experience
• Must be available to work overtime, weekends, and a rotating schedule to meet operational needs
• Must be able to perform heavy manual tasks
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations
• Must be able to effectively communicate, read, write and follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Current State of California Driver's License

Responsibilities

• Provides delivery and pick-up of U.S. and inter-departmental mail for UCI Medical Center and School of Medicine.
• Sorts and meters mail, handles payroll sheets and checks, and recharges for mailroom services.
• Researches undeliverable mail and maintains mailroom equipment.
• Operates a delivery van and participates in annual physical inventories for Stores and O.R. areas.
