Job summary

UC Irvine is seeking a Sr. Mail Processor to support the mailroom at UCI Medical Center. Under the Sr. Stores Supervisor, you will handle mail delivery, sorting, metering, and payroll sheet delivery, while maintaining equipment and assisting with inventories.

This role requires one year of related experience, ability to lift heavy tasks, overtime weekends, and a California driver's license. Excellent customer service is essential as you interact with departments and staff daily.

Qualifications

• One year previous job-related/equivalent experience.
• Must be able to work overtime, weekends, and a rotating schedule.
• Must be able to perform heavy manual tasks.
• Must be able to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, read and follow instructions.
• California Driver's License required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up mail for UCI Medical Center and School of Medicine.
• Sort and meter mail, and deliver payroll sheets and checks.
• Research undeliverable mail and maintain mailroom equipment.
• Assist with annual inventories and act as a delivery van operator.
• Provide excellent customer service to meet department needs.
