Job summary

UCI Health in Orange County is seeking a Sr. Mail Processor to manage mail delivery, sorting, and related support for the Medical Center and School of Medicine. Responsibilities include loading and unloading mail, meeting service requests, and supporting payroll and inter-departmental communications.

Your Role on the Team

Position Summary

Under the direction of the Sr. Stores Supervisor, Sr. Mail Processor duties include, but are not limited to, delivery and pick‑up of U.S. and inter‑departmental mail for UCI Medical Center and School of Medicine, sorting and metering mail, pick‑up and delivery of payroll sheets and checks, recharging for mailroom services and doing research on undeliverable mail. Incumbent is responsible for the proper maintenance of mailroom equipment and for initiating needed repairs. Incumbent operates a delivery van. Participation in annual physical inventories for areas such as Stores and O.R. is required. Major attention is given to providing excellent customer service by meeting customer requests and expectations.
