Job summary

Suttle-Straus in Waunakee, Wisconsin, is seeking a Mailing Machine Operator to learn and operate printing and inserting equipment. You will set up jobs per specifications, run production and maintain quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Training is provided; the role requires standing for 8 hours, attention to detail, and a mechanical mindset. You will collaborate with a team, follow safety rules, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Prior print shop/mail house experience preferred.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to operate a computer-based insert matching system.
• General knowledge of US postal regulations.
• Mechanical aptitude to set up and operate printers, inserters, postage meters, and tray banding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Learn to operate printing and inserting equipment.
• Set up each job according to the job specifications.
• Stand 8 hours per day.
• Maintain established production standards.
• Be detail oriented with strong mechanical aptitude.
• Follow safety policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with team to improve processes.
• Provide feedback on consumables for devices.
• Participate in quality audits and CAPA activities.
• Assist with internal/external questions to provide solutions.
