Job summary

Suttle-Straus is seeking a 2nd Pressman--Sheetfed to join our award-winning team in Wisconsin. The role supports machine operators in the press room, with the potential for training for the right candidate.

You will stand up to 12 hours, handle setup and quality checks, and collaborate with team members to meet production goals. The position emphasizes mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to follow tickets and layouts.

Qualifications

• Experience in a commercial print shop is a plus.
• High School education or equivalent professional experience.
• Ability to read a ruler.
• Basic math skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work well with co-workers in a team environment.
• Ability to operate computer-based technology.

Responsibilities

• Deliver quality products by following work tickets and layouts.
• Assist with press make-ready and setup.
• Monitor product quality and record time/materials.
• Follow daily press schedule to meet delivery dates.
• Participate in maintenance and safety programs.
• Maintain a clean, organized 6S work area.
• Support problem solving and customer inquiries.
• Assist with general press upkeep and waste reduction.
