Job summary

RRD is seeking a Machine Operator in Logan, Utah to operate automated mailing equipment for publications. The role involves following setup instructions, weighing and tying bundles, and selecting appropriate packaging based on zip code.

You will review instructions, adjust equipment, record production data, and handle outbound shipments. The position includes benefits and requires consistent adherence to safety and quality guidelines.

Qualifications

• Familiarity with routine operating procedures of equipment.
• Maintain machine operating and maintenance records; write new labels for materials.
• Identify improper machine operation and perform basic adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Operate machines that address, weigh, and tie publications for mailing according to zip code.
• Review manufacturing instructions to determine type and size of publication.
• Make adjustments to guides, rollers, weighing machine, and tying arm as needed.
• Record production according to customer name and zip code and machine downtime.
• Process and ship outgoing small parcels (UPS, FedEx, DHL).
