gTANGIBLE Corporation is hiring a Mail Screener/Destruction Technician at the Western Currency Facility (BEP) in Fort Worth, TX. You will screen mail, assist with destruction of unfit currency, and follow BEP procedures in a physically demanding environment.

Qualified candidates have at least 5 years in administrative or security roles, are able to lift up to 50 pounds, read and communicate in English, wear PPE as required, and can pass training and security requirements. U.S.

Position Title: Mail Screener/Destruction Technician at Western Currency Facility (WCF), Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP)

Location: Fort Worth, TX

Security Clearance Level: T4 - High Public Trust

Duties and Responsibilities

The Mail Screener/Destruction Technician will staff the mail screening facility and provide assistance with the destruction of mutilated Currency. The position's duties and responsibilities include:

1. Provide assistance in the screening of mail and the destruction of unfit currency notes/sheets and currency printing plates in accordance with established BEP procedures.
   • Mail screening involves placing parcels into specialized detection equipment and then placing in bins for pickup.
   • Destruction involves placing unfit currency notes/sheets on a conveyor belt or Mo a gondola and placing unfit plates into a shredding machine.

Note: These are physically demanding tasks that require an individual capable of performing in such an environment for considerable lengths of time.

1. Successfully complete Government-provided training (classroom, online, and hand-on) and perform the tasks as taught for:

• WCF Destruction Procedures
• WCF Mail Screening Equipment and Procedures
• Other related training, e.g. IT Security Awareness, Operations Security, Safety and Environmental Health, Security Procedures

1. Obey, abide by and comply with all federal, state and local environmental, health and safety regulations, as applicable to the work performed and the location of the work. Comply with the requirements and procedures established through the BEP WCF Environmental Management System (EMS).
2. Overtime is possible at the Government's direction on evenings, weekends, or holidays.

Knowledge and Qualifications

• Mail screening and destruction duties require lifting items of a weight not to exceed 50 pounds to a height of four feet so they may be loaded into a bin or placed in a screening machine
• Hearing protection and steel toed shoes are required in performance of the destruction detail
• Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in the administrative or security field
• Be able to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Demonstrated history of not being a potential threat to the health, safety, security, general well-being, or operational mission of the facility.
• Present a neat and clean appearance and have a history of superior personal and professional conduct
• Intermediate level computer skills that possess experience to work with multiple worksheets, filter data and use integration functions
• Mail screening may require additional PPE (e.g. coveralls, gloves, foot coverings) to be utilized
• Possess a valid U.S. driver's license
• Knowledge and experience providing quality customer service to Government employees, military personnel, contractors, and/or visitors.
• May not be an employee of the U.S. Government at the time of employment with gTANGIBLE
• U.S. Military Veteran preferred
