Broadridge Financial Solutions in South Windsor, CT is hiring a Mail Processing Clerk to support the Automated Container Line, move mailing trays, and ensure daily workflow meets targets. The role reports to a supervisor and requires standing for long shifts and lifting up to 70 lbs.

The position features a night shift (6pm–6am) with an hourly rate of $18.75 and bonus eligibility. Previous production/ postage experience is preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is noted as preferred.

We are currently hiring a Mail Processing Clerk for our South Windsor, CT location.

Basic Purpose

Ensure daily operational work flow is met by moving the mailing trays along the Automated Container Line (ACL) and into trucks. Reports to supervisor.

Job Responsibilities

• Sleeves and bundles trays, according to USPS and company standards, places them on pallets and shrink-wraps loads.
• Drives a pallet jack to move pallets and load into the trucks.
• Ability to follow in-depth work instructions and keep work flowing at the optimal pace to match the conditions.
• Monitors and is responsible for quality throughout each job.
• Completes all required documentation relevant to every job.
• May research and resolve problems resulting from diverted tray and may perform simple repairs on the ACL (e.g. clear jams).
• Follows all departmental and safety procedures.
• May perform other duties/responsibilities as needed or assigned.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a production environment, with knowledge of postage rates and material confirmation
• Experience in the operation of material insert machines is necessary.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Requirements

• Ability to stand and work throughout duration of assigned shifts
• Requires standing for 12-hour shifts, pulling, pushing and lifting up to 70 lbs.
• Flexibility in work schedule, based on volume needs, which could require weekends, holidays and/or overtime

Hourly rate: $18.75 hourly – Bonus eligible
