Job summary

Sheridan is hiring a Manufacturing Associate for finishing/bindery. We’ll train you on high-speed bindery equipment, with a daytime shift 7a–7p, full-time and overtime opportunities. Join a hands-on team that turns books and printed materials into finished products people use every day.

You’ll feed books into machines, pack outputs, and help keep a clean, safe workspace while meeting daily production goals. No bindery experience?

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions.
• Basic math and measurement skills.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.

What You’ll Do

• Feed books/signatures into machine

What We’re Looking For

No bindery experience? No problem—we’ll train you.
We’re looking for people who:

• Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
• High school Diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education or experience
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work orders, workplace, and safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
• Basic math skills, add subtract, and ability to use a measuring device
• Basic problem‑solving skillsAre mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
• Can read basic job instructions and measurements
• Take pride in doing quality work
• Show up reliably and work well with a team

It’s a plus if you have:

• Print, bindery, or finishing experience
• Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment

Physical & Work Environment

• On your feet for most of the shift
• Fast‑paced, team‑oriented production floor
• Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
