Job summary

BrightKey in Long Island City, NY is seeking an experienced Mail Courier / Driver to ensure timely delivery of mail and packages. This full-time role requires a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and the ability to lift moderate weights while maintaining accuracy and reliability.

You will sort, plan routes, log deliveries, and uphold security and confidentiality of all mail. The position offers benefits, PTO and a 401k match, with a standard first shift Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

Mail Courier / Driver Job Description

As a Mail Courier / Driver, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of mail and packages to various locations. You will play a crucial role in maintaining the high standards of service that our customers expect. This position requires a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Experience in driving and handling mail is strongly desired.

Compensation & Benefits For The Mail Courier / Driver

• Pay rate: $18.50 - $19.50 per hour

Hours & Logistics

• Monday - Friday
• First Shift (6:30am-3:00pm with some variation to support workload)
• Location: Long Island City, NY

Ideal Experience for the Mail Courier Position

• Professional driving experience with companies such as FedEx, UPS, United States Postal Service (USPS) or similar organizations that handle mail/parcel deliveries
• Experience in handling and/or sorting mail and packages
• Corporate mail room experience
