Job summary

BrightKey is seeking an experienced Mail Courier / Driver in Long Island City, NY. You will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of mail and packages, maintaining confidentiality and high service standards.

Ideal candidates have a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and experience with mail handling. The role is Monday–Friday, first shift, with benefits including health coverage, PTO, and a 401(k) match.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a driver; mail delivery experience a plus.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift and carry mail and packages as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Collect and deliver mail and packages to and from specified locations.
• Sort and organize mail for efficient delivery.
• Plan and follow efficient routes for delivery.
• Maintain security and confidentiality of all mail and packages.
• Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
• Log deliveries and tracking information in company systems.
• Adhere to traffic laws and company safety policies.
