Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health’s Exeter Hospital, a nationally recognized nonprofit community hospital serving the Seacoast since 1896, seeks a RN to join our team. Reporting to the Nurse Manager/Director, you will provide professional nursing care within the unit and coordinate care planning with other disciplines.

You will adhere to standards, mentor staff, delegate duties, perform assessments, plan discharges, educate patients and families, and pursue ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• RN license in NH or a compact state.
• BCLS certified or within 30 days of hire; BSN strongly preferred.
• ACLS certified or within 1 year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care within assigned unit and coordinate care planning with other disciplines.
• Adhere to standards, policies, and ANA guidelines; ensure safe medication and IV administration and accurate documentation.
• Mentor and precept new staff; participate in teaching, case studies, and education programs.
• Perform comprehensive assessments, discharge planning, and patient/family education.
• Engage in professional growth, collaboration across units, and evidence-based practice.
