Job summary

Maimonides Medical Center seeks a Manager of Magnet Program to lead the ANCC Magnet designation process, drive performance improvement, and coordinate cross-departmental efforts across the health system. You will work with nursing leadership to sustain excellence and ensure evidence-based practices.

The role requires a Master’s in health or business administration, RN licensure in New York, and certifications within one year.

Qualifications

• RN license required in NYS.
• Nurse Leader certification required within one year of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required in critical care areas.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) required in pediatric areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead Magnet Designation program assessment and attainment.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and accreditation standards through monitoring.
• Collaborate with CNO, Nursing Excellence team and Magnet Champions.
• Coordinate documentation, policies, and evidence for Magnet status.
• Coordinate all aspects of the ANCC Magnet application, designation, and maintenance.
